UNIFORM MOTION
When a body covers equal distances in equal
intervals of time then such a motion is called
uniform motion.
• If a body travels equal distance in equal intervals
of time in the same direction then it is said to be
in uniform motion.

A body is said to be in uniform if it travels equal

distances in equal intervals of time, no matter
how small these time intervals may be.
If be draw distance time intervals may be. If
we draw distance time graph for uniform
motion then it we draw distance time graph for
uniform motion then then it will be straight
line. For better understanding we can take an
example, a car is running at a constant speed
say 50 metres per seconds, will covers equal
distance of 50 metres, every second, so its
motion will be uniform.
UNIFORM MOTION
 If an object moves
equal interval of time.
Speed: can not be
speeding up or slowing
down.
 Uniform = “constant”
Ex:- If an object go to
Delhi from Panipat on a
traffic less road. It
reaches there in 2 hours
by moving with constant
speed of 30km/h. n this
case object covers equal
interval of time.
