Manpower planning is essentially the process of getting the number of
qualified employees and seek to place the right employees in the right job at
the right time, So that an organization can meet its objectives.
Definition-
According to Eric w.vetter , “The process by which management determines
how the organisation should move from its current manpower position to its
desired manpower position”.
Importance of manpower planning
Hard Human resource planning- Focus here is to identify work force needs
so you can recruit and manage as you need to including hiring, staff etc.
