What are Drugs?
Drugs and alcohol are substances that, when used by a
person, make changes in the brain and usually in the
behavior of the individual.

• Changes in our brains do not ever stop happening. But the pathways that are being
formed at a young age are incredibly important for future success.

• These pathway can be damaged beyond repair if drugs are used, and this is especially
damaging during the teenage years.
