Prayer

Lord, teach me to be generous,

to serve you as you deserve to be served,
to give without counting the cost,
to fight without counting the wounds,
to work without seeking rest,
to spend my days without asking anything in
return
except for the knowledge that I am doing your
holy will. Amen

within a statement.
• A definition maybe enclosed in parenthesis or
mentioned as an appositive, or a noun phrase
enclosed by two commas.

appositive definitions
