Shoe Shine


Clean dust and dirt from the surface of your shoes or
boots with a shoeshine brush or damp cloth.

Select a can of wax or creme shoe polish that matches
the leather you want to polish.

Use a shoe polish brush or cloth to apply a conservative
amount of polish to the surface of the leather. Apply in
circular motions until the leather has a dull coating. Get
into tight spots using an old toothbrush.

Wait 5 minutes while the polish dries.

Brush shoes or boots with a shoeshine brush.

Buff to a gleaming shine with a clean cotton cloth.
Window Cleaning

1. Prepare the materials:


 2 Buckets
 Scrubbing pad – white
 Broom
 Polishing cloth
 Mop - Squeegee
 Hand brush - Plastic bag
 APC - methylated spirit
 Cleaning towel
2. prepare a bucket of water and add a small amount
of APC. Have another bucket of water for rinsing.
3. remove cobwebs with broom or cloth.
4. clean frames by washing thoroughly, from top to
bottom, inside ad outside, using a sponge soaked in
APC solution
 From upper left corner, creating an s-shape stoke
downwards
 From upper left corner, drag sponge down
 If squeegee is used, wipe it dry with a cloth after
each stroke. If not, lines will be visible on the
window pane.
5. rinse the sponge/squeegee in the rinsing bucket
6. wipe dry the window fames using a dry, cleaning
towel
7. clean the outside part of the window
8. polish the glass with a polishing cloth and spray
methylated spirit. Give special attention to the
corners and edges of glass windows.
Brass Cleaning and Polishing
1. Prepare the materials:
 Metal polish - cleaning cloth
 Polishing cloths
 APC
 Hot water
2. Apply metal polish to the metal fixture using a
polishing cloth to remove dirt and tarnish. Avoid using
excessive polish. Apply evenly.
3. Rub the polish into the metal surface until the polish
dries up.
4. Repeat the rubbing process with a different
cloth until the surface is shiny and free of
tarnish.
5. Mix APC with hot water.
6. Rinse the surface with a cleaning cloth dipped
in APC solution to wash away all remaining dirt
and polish
7. Wipe dry the metal surface with a cleaning
cloth
