 The delegation of authority refers to the
division of labor and decision making
responsibility to an individual that reports to
a leader or manager.
Types Of Delegation of Authority
1) General or specific delegation. It
is based on the job assigned.
2) Formal or informal delegation. It
is based on the process of giving
authority.
3) Top to bottom or bottom to top
delegation. It is based on the
hierarchy.
4) Lateral delegation. It requires a
group or team to work in parallel.
