PGAC : An Introduction
• Post-Graduate Academic Council(PGAC) is a student-run body and the
responsibility of PGAC is to represent, and communicate, the academic
interests of postgraduate students.
• Address the concerns and grievances of the students on all academic fronts.
(Not restricted to academics only)
• Deliberate and work on some policy changes to address the demands of the
students and suggest that to the administration.
• Work in collaboration with the ISCP, SARC and Placement Cell for the welfare
of the students on all academic fronts.

● Assist the EM and IMR/IDR in increasing awareness of academic issues and also in
achieving the objectives of the academic council.
● Increase awareness about the academic rules, regulations and different provisions
for special circumstances in the dept.
● Feel free to contact us about any academic issues you may face, we'll try to help to
the best of our capacity.
