The Simple Present


Use the Simple Present to talk about habits (traditions), facts
(real information) and routines (repeated actions).

Subject + verb + complement.

I study English.

You work in New York.

We drink tea at 5pm.

They cook every day.

Use the Simple Present to talk about habits (traditions), facts
(real information) and routines (repeated actions).

Subject + verb (-s) + complement.

He goes to school.

She walks to work.

It eats fruits and vegetables.


Spelling Rules for He/She/It
1. In general, add '-s'. 3. In consonant + y verbs, drop the '-y'
and add '-ies'.
