employees from different companies
● Took companies from different sectors
● Tried to create Diversity on the basis of gender
and religion to understand the topic from a
different perspective
● Took Questions that affected Employees related
to the Leave policy of the company
● Tried to create a short interview to make sure that
the personnel is not irritated
● Then computed the responses and tried to analyse
the situation related to the leave policy of the

FINDINGS

Out of all the feedback that we took, we came to the


following conclusions:
 Most working professionals are aware of the leave
policy of their company and take it as a parameter of
job satisfaction before joining a particular company.
 Most working professionals are satisfied with their
leave management system as companies have become
more employee-centric.
 Companies are treating both genders equally by
offering paternity leave which wasn’t a holistic trend
dating a few years back.
 Most of the employees are also getting childcare
leave which is common for both genders offering a
very satisfactory work-life balance.

1). Leave policies in most companies are framed


according to only 2 genders.

2). Paternity leave is not common in india

3) Fewer leaves in the company can drive a stressed


behavior in a organization

4) Most of companies frame their leaves according


to region where they are operating.

THE BRIGHT SIDE- UNUSUAL LEAVE POLICIES FOR A BETTER FUTURE OF WORK
• Mandatory leaves-HSBC offers 2 weeks of mandatory leave that is to be taken at a stretch. In this, they are not allowed to reply
to any work calls or emails. Companies that offer these leaves believe in letting the employee rejuvenate and take a break from
their hustling and productive self. These leaves can be availed at any time in the fiscal year after informing the manager.
• Unlimited vacation- Such leave policy is still a distant dream for Indian Companies to implement. As the title itself tells, in this
leave, employees are allowed to take unlimited leaves till the time they are getting the results expected out of them. Virgin
Airlines and Netflix provide unlimited leaves to their employees. This is done with an aim to focus on productivity rather than the
hours put in.

CONCLUSION

 Maximum employees don’t utilize their leaves


before/end of the year
 Maximum employees utilize casual and sick leave
 Maximum people to carry forward their leave to next
year rather than utilizing it in this year results in
stressed and depressing work culture.
 Festival-based leaves should be focused more as it is
creating more clashes between caste and people.
