INTRODUCTION

Event Management is the application of project management to the creation and

development of small and/or large-scale personal or corporate events .

Event Management is a process . Requiring the use of business management and skills .
To imagine , plan and execute social and business events . It involves planning , budgeting
, organising and producing events .

A perfect and powerful blend of creative and technical skills . Creating and delivering a
focused event for a target audience .
 SCOPE OF PROJECT

● The aim is to make a user friendly application that can let a Customer to plan for an Event .
● The Customer can select the event and as per choice Customer can select the Event type, Venue ,
Photographer , Caterer .
● Choice of all these can be made from the list of panel .
● The project will help Customers to book an event and cost required as per their choice . No need
to visit all these
● Event Management is the application of project management to the creation and development of
marriages , festival , events and birthday parties .
PROJECT DETAILS

● Event Management System manages all the events .

● System very efficiently store , maintain and retrieve data from its database and can
be used for further analysis
● Time saving activity .
● At Minimum cost .
PROPOSED SYSTEM
● Manual hours that need to spend in record keeping is no longer required . It
generate automatically .
● The data in a centralized way which is available to all the Customers .
● Easy to manage data in database .
● Customer can register for any event .
● Admin can update or modify records of user any time .
● Customer can choose the Event type , Photographer , Caterer .
FEASIBILITY STUDY
Economical Feasibility :

This is a very important aspect to be considered while developing a project . The decided
technology based on minimum possible cost factor .

All hardware and software cost has to be borne by the organization.

Overall estimated that the benefits the organization is going to receive from the proposed
system will surely overcome the initial costs and the later on running cost for system .

To decide whether a project is economically feasible , to consider various factors as cost

benefit analysis ,long-term returns and maintenance costs .
Technical Feasibility :

This included the study of function , performance and constraints that may affect the
ability to achieve an acceptable system .

For this study , studied the complete functionality to be provided in the system
requirements specification and checked if everything was possible using different type of
frontend and backend platforms .

The environment required in the development of system is Windows platform .

The language used in the development is Java , Jswings , Tomcat server and database as
MySql .
Operational Feasibility :

No doubt the proposed system is GUI based that is very user friendly and all inputs
to be taken all self-explanatory even to layman .

Besides , a proper training has been conducted to let know the essence of the system
to the users so that they feel comfortable with new system .

As far the study is concerned the clients are comfortable and happy as the system
has cut down their loads and doing .
