Hammer stone is made of a material such as sandstone,
limestone or quartzite, usually made from a round pebble
of medium-grained stone, like quartzite or granite, that
weighs between 400 and 1000 grams., and develops telltale
battering marks on one or both ends and it has been used
to break or to chipped flints and also used to strike off
lithic flakes from a lump of tool during the process of
lithic reduction.

They were picked for their size and hardness,

and little modification was needed. Hammer stones become whitish
after use, a condition known as stone bruising. When the other
minerals in the stone are crushed, this occurs.

Hammer stone is an ancient stone tool that used as a

hammer in stone ages. Hammer stones were used to shape
materials like stone into flakes, hand axes and also used
for processing food, chipping flint or breaking up bones.
Hammerstones are among the oldest and most basic tools made
of stone. Early people had mastered the art of striking a stone
cobble with a hammer stone at just the proper angle to cause
sharp flakes to fly off the core. and the earliest and most basic
stone instrument is the hammer stone.

We as a group believe the hammer stone is significant since it

is highly beneficial for other people and contains facilitated items.
They did this so that they might make use of something that
facilitated
their job in some way, such as by constructing a shelter or by using it
to
take their food. Before the period of metal manufacture,
this technique was extremely important to prehistoric societies.
 EDUCATIONAL IMPACT

Hammerstones can be applied to the course I'm currently

taking by being patient and coming up with a plan because
while using a hammerstone, we should have a strategy for how
to
utilize it, much like in my course, which I'm currently doing,
where we must have a strategy to finish this course.
And hammerstones are difficult to use, it needed time to
chipped stones to create something. In our course,
it is also difficult to understand and it also needed
time to understand it for us to create our own program.
