ODU
 Outdoor unit (ODU) realizes the
mutual conversion between IF analog
signal and RF signal.
 ODU is irrelevant to the microwave
transmission capacity.
 An ODU in OptiX RTN 600 can
support capacity from 4 E1s to one
STM-1.

Hybrid Coupler
 When two ODUs share one antenna, the ODUs must be connect
ed to an RF signal coupler/ splitter (hybrid coupler). Th
en, the hybrid coupler is connected to the antenna.

Antenna
 The antenna implements the
directional transmission and
reception of RF signals. The main
parameters are frequency band,
diameter and antenna gain.

How can recognize the diferents types of an ODU?
The type of an ODU defines the operating frequency band, type of capacity, T/R
spacing, sub-band, Tx high/low station, and type of power.

the type of the ODU is "15S0420APS". The meanings of the characters and
numbers in "15S0420APS" are :.
