 PRACTICE QUESTION – 1
Draw the projections of a circle of 40 mm diameter pivoted 30 mm in front of VP on point A on
the circumference. Its plane inclined at 40 deg CW to the VP and the front view of the diameter
AB making an angle of 30 deg CCW with the HP.

A regular pentagon ABCDE of sides 50 mm is inclined to VP at 15 deg CW. One of its corner A
is on VP and the side DE is inclined to HP at an angle 30deg CW in the front view. Draw its
projections and determine the apparent length of DE in front view.

 DEMONSTRATION QUESTION – 1
A regular hexagonal plane ABCDEF of 50 mm side is inclined at 30° (CCW) to the HP. One of its
corners A is resting on the HP. Draw its projections in 1 st angle method if top view of the
diagonal AD is making an angle of 60° (CW) with the VP and determine the length of the
diagonal AD in the top view.
