strength to support itself

Properties of Good Formworks

 Capable to withstand against LL & DL
 Can retain the desired shape with adequate brace & shoring
 Leak proof
 It is reusable
 It should be lightweight as much as possible
 Formwork should not be distort nor warp during placing of concrete

 Form Lumber - 120-150 board foot per cu. meter of concrete
 Form Ply board - 1.45 piece per cu. meter of concrete
 Assorted Nails - 45 kilos of nails per 2000 bd. ft of nailing surface
