 • The internship opportunity that I had with University of
Greenwich was a great chance for learning and
professional development.
• I would like to express my special thanks to Prof. Ozgar
Cinar who took time out to hear, guide and keep me on
the correct path and allowing me to carry out my
internship.

wonderful people and professionals who led me through

 OBJECTIVES OF
INTERNSHIP

• The objective of internship was to provide me

an opportunity to identify and further develop
the legal knowledge of business expansion
opportunities. Another objective was to
research on the new topics and to understand
the methodology and structure of formation of
business. Also, got to learn the drafting the
business plan and negotiating with the
counsels to meet the best interests.
 • Week 1- During my first week, reading was given on confidentiality agreements.
A sample agreement of facts were given to analyse. Also, learnt how to draft an
effective business plan. Further, I was provided with a business plan draft and

TASK observed how to draft a business plan. Also, assisted in client meetings for
analysing and discussing an effective business plan and strategies.

Week 2- During my second week of Internship the work was being upgraded.
Reading was given on business organisations and choice of entity. There are
certain options for business i.e. sole trader, partnership, LLP, Corporation etc.
Further, I researched on difference between the partnership and corporation as it
is vital before commencing any business.
• Week 3- In third week of my internship, I got more determined
to my internship. A document was given to read on preliminary
of business agreements (LOI). Also, got to read a document
based on operating agreement and its objectives.
• . Now, as we came to conclusion that this is the limited liability
company and on the basis of that we were provided with
operating template. Here I learnt that negotiating should be
resulted in the best interest of the client regarding the
management and governance of the business.
• Week 4- This was my last week of internship and got to observe
the US client’s presentation. Also, learnt their methodology of
organising business along with the negotiations.
• The Final operating agreement was being provided which we
have to review as per the groups divided and need to compare
with the draft created by us in previous week.
• Further, I attended the board presentations by the US clients
where I observed the procedure of giving recommendation on
business expansion opportunities through presentations.
 CONCLUSION

• The internship helped me in understanding the business and doing deals across the international
borders. During my internship I visited their campus and observed the culture out there.

• While researching on topics I learnt more about the business expansion opportunities. This internship
helped me to explore new things and meeting new people, collecting the valuable guidance form the
Senior US clients which would be somehow fruitful in my life. Also, get the exposure of International
jurisdiction and learnt drafting the business plan before the formation of any business organisation.

• This internship overall helped me in increasing knowledge and understanding the legal world a bit.
