 Greetings
A pleasant day to all. As SK chairpersons of the
community we notice that not everyone of us has a
family prayer guide hence we made a prayer guide
for everybody and we would like you to join our
prayer for disaster. May this prayer strengthen our
faith and help us to trust God more. We offer this
prayer for everyone’s safety and protection especially
to those who are suffering calamities and disaster.

 Opening Prayer
God of Grace, we open our hearts, minds and
souls to worship you. Help us overcome the
negativity that seems to be spreading around.
Please be with us during the most difficult
times of our lives. We come to you today
asking for your guidance and protection. We
trust and believe in you wholeheartedly. Amen.
 Prayer Intentions
We offer this prayer for everyone to be
prepared physically, mentally and most
especially spiritually.
 Prayer Intentions
Our prayer intention is offered for all SK
Charimans that they will be showered with
knowledge, wisdom and protection in leading the
community.
 Prayer Intentions
We ask a protection and guidance for the
disaster volunteers. May you strengthen their
minds and souls. Shower them with braveness
and strength.
 Prayer Intentions
We ask the Lord to keep us from harm and for
him to watch us over. We ask for your
protection and guidance in this times of
calamities that we may be left unscathed. That
we may remain stillness in mind during a times
of disaster.
 Prayer Intentions
We trust you sincerely. Help us not to give up
when tough days will come especially when there
is a disaster or calamity that will happen. We ask
you for our complete safety of our families and
relatives, may you keep them away from all
kinds of harm. Please help us spread positivity.
 Prayer Intentions
We ask today to give us the power and courage
we need to overcome any upcoming difficulties
and trials in our life. Give us faith and courage to
seek you in times of trouble. Reach out your hand
to us when we are sinking so that we may believe
and worship you.

They confronted me in the day
of my calamity,
But the Lord was my stay.
God is our refuge and strength, an
ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though
the earth give way and the
mountains fall into the heart of the
sea.
 Sharing about the reading
Both bible verses tell us that God is our Strength in
any difficulties and calamities in life. He is the only
one who will stay beside our side and you can feel his
presence to you all the time. The one who can truly
help you like any other. So do not fear anything,
even if the world will crumble, God will save you.

Bible Thoughts
 Closing Prayer
Dear Lord, we ask for your presence, as you are our savior,
we pray for the people who are experiencing disaster, you
are their comfort and aspiration, fill them with your
strength and peace, cut out their fear and disbelief for all
the things you do are possible. Complexity is in vain by
the power of your virtuousness, grant them with hope and
wisdom, you are the solution in their heavy situation. We
pray for the rescuers, victims and for all the people who
are dealing calamities, proffer them with guidance. Amen.
