RONDALLA- is an ensemble composed of


plucked stringed instruments introduced by the
Spaniards. These instruments are played with
a plectrum or pick. They are made from
indigenous materials of great quality, such as
kamagong wood, narra and palutsina. The
following are the instruments used in rondalla.
INSTRUMENTS USED IN RONDALLA
Bandurria- serve as the Guitar- plays the chords
soprano of the ensemble and of the melody,
plays the melody intensifying the harmony.
