BATIK WORKER
The batik industry is currently a growing industry in
Indonesia. Batik, is a handicraft that has high
artistic value and has become part of the
Indonesian cultural heritage. However, batik is a
job that consists of several repetitive movements.
The unnatural work posture of hand-written batik
craftsmen will cause musculoskeletal complaints.

Sitting work posture is a work posture that does not


burden the legs with a heavy body and is stable
during work. Incorrect sitting posture is the cause
of back problems and LBP. This can happen
because the pressure on the spine will increase
when sitting compared to when standing
Skeletal muscle disorders in the long term are
caused by repeated overloading that can happen
to batik workers. based on the type, skeletal
muscle disorders can be divided into 4:
a. Disorders of the Skeletal Muscles of the
Tendons Disorders of the tendons are usually
in the form of inflammation caused by
repetitive work movements and continuously
burdening certain tendons without adequate
rest.
