•It is made up of molten rocks called
magma.
•Its total thickness is 2900 km.

•The crust is made of
solid rocks and minerals.

earth's crust that forms the
large landmasses
OCEANIC CRUST
• the outermost layer of
Earth’s lithosphere that is found under
the oceans and formed at spreading
centers on oceanic ridges, which occur
at divergent plate boundaries.
