BACKGROUND/STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
● The mode of work, Work From Home (WFH) is being used by almost all
companies/organizations to limit the fatalities and cases that may be caused by the
Coronavirus Pandemic
● The non-teaching office personnel (NTOP) of Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati
have been rotating between working from home and onsite due to certain reasons.
● This raises the question if businesses and any working institutes are prepared to
accommodate the new mode of working for a more permanent setting if implemented.
● In this scenario, it is important to assess both the benefits and drawbacks of each mode
of working by collecting the experiences of those who worked on both modes like the
NTOPs of the school, in order to be able to come up with a conclusion
RESEARCH QUESTIONS
● How does the mode of work, WFH, increase the quality and ease the
experience of Non-Teaching Operating Personnel?
● What are the main components of WFH that contribute to it being a more
efficient and/or productive mode of work?
● Which work model would be most suitable and effective in a school
organization? Onsite work, remote work, or the hybrid work model?

RESEARCH DESIGN AND DATA COLLECTION METHOD
● The design of this study would be phenomenological
● The researchers will employ an interview methodology, or more precisely, a
semi-structured interview
● Handpicked individuals who are willing to participate in responding to the
constructed questions will be the mode of data collection.
● The purpose of this kind of data collection is to gain key points and insights
into the participant’s experiences working from home and how they adjusted
to this mode of working.

INSTRUMENTATION & PROCEDURE
● The study will be utilizing a semi-structured method of interview
● It will follow a set of questions that will help the researchers conclude the
effects and drawbacks of the two work mode setups
● The interview questions will be based on the three (3) research questions that
were formulated by the researchers.
● The interviewer will not be limited to strictly follow the set of questions
prepared beforehand, as follow-up questions may be used in the interview, if
ever there are some unclear details in regards to the answer/response of the
interviewee.
● Following the previously mentioned research questions, the interview will be
divided into 3 parts to answer each main question accordingly.
