NARRATIVE
I believe that being real makes you stand out and make a
significant impact. Scott Stabile states, “So much possibility lives
within the beauty of your authenticity. Be real.” You are entirely
honest with what you feel, sincerely value, and seek when you are
being true to yourself. It also entails being honest with yourself
and others about your feelings, allowing your truth to flow
through you and out into the world. We may create settings,
circumstances, and experiences that are truly extraordinary when
we are honest with ourselves and others. These uncommon
occurrences lead to an incredible life. In this seemingly
inauthentic environment, the challenge is to live life truly daily. As
I reflected on my experience creating and answering questions on
relationships, responsibility, leadership, and even interactions and
connections with other people, I came to several conclusions. We
need to be true to ourselves. Being true to oneself gives us the
opportunity to know more about myself; it helps me achieve
transcendence and grow as a person.
As a student leader, I have learned many things in my

personal and social lives as a result of the learning experience in
Retrospect Batang Batangueño (RBB). It has taught me the
significance of truth in my life and has shown me that being real

and authentic will help you find more about yourself. Being true
to yourself means being honest with yourself about how you feel,
your own desires, likes, needs, and personality. It's when you fully
embrace yourself as the master of your own heart and emotions.
Here are some of the things I learned about myself while working
on the Retrospect Batang Batangueño tasks:
The DepEd Core Values were present in the Retrospect

Batang Batangueño (RBB) tasks, which included Maka-Diyos,
Maka-Tao, Maka-Kalikasan, and Maka-Bansa. With these values I
develop myself to be more authentic with a mission to develop
and to discover more. To begin, we are given the task of creating
our own Learning Hub that will enable students enjoy and learn
with a purpose, even though we are in a modular set-up. The
home learning environment is made up of everything you and
your family do as well as the areas to which I have access that
influence my development and learning. This includes the ability
to interact with modules, things, and everyday events in order to
better understand their reality. With the support of our advisers
and parents, we learn to pay respect and to comprehend our
situation. It was highlighted in my photograph with my father;
respect and willingness are crucial because they mean we treat
others the way we want to be treated, and willingness allows us
to overcome our weaknesses by learning and discovering new
things via curiosity and adaptability. It has the potential to be a

life-balancing influence. Respect also entails treating others with

dignity and demonstrating a willingness to learn something new
every day. The existence of these two can result in positive
transformation, whilst their lack can result in destruction.
Moving on, the second task in which we participated was the

Daily Bible Verse posting, which became a platform for me and a
privilege because I believe that sharing wisdom and
encouragement with my fellow classmates will open a lot of
opportunities for them to realize and walk the path with God
during our difficult times. I believe that you should never let your
voice be hushed, especially when it comes to God. You never
know who God's words will have an influence on. You never know
who you'll make feel visible, brave, or soothed by your actions.
Know that by sharing your tales, you're speaking up for others as
well as for yourself and God's purpose. Sacred books can aid us on
our religious journey, but sharing our narrative touches people's
emotions and allows them to see their own story in yours. We get
closer to one another and to God as a result of hearing and
sharing faith stories. We grow in our grasp of God's Word as it is
expressed in Scripture and in our lives. As our comprehension
grows, so does our faith. We share our faith with others because
we care about them and want them to know about the most
amazing story ever told. And I know that by posting it, I've
touched someone's life, and that they will tell how great is our
God and how real He is.
In terms of becoming Maka-Kalikasan, we've been given the

responsibility of performing and making a contraption out of
trash, and I ended up making two inventions that I knew would be
different and beneficial not only to the environment but also to
myself. As a student, my heart is very close to our environment; I
always contemplate its state, and I am well aware that my modest
actions will have significant consequences for everyone. I
designed two gadgets, a broom and a coastal skimmer, which are
still being used to clean my surroundings today. Going from trash
to a device that will clear our trash is one of the transformations I
am proud of. The process of recycling involves converting garbage
into new materials or products. This is an excellent way to
safeguard the environment; recycling is required if we are to
preserve the earth for future generations. We repurpose
discarded, unused items to create new goods. You are truly
recycling by reusing rather than tossing away your old things.
Recycling is important for both the natural world and human
beings. It is an old technique with many modern applications. It
refers to the recovery and repurposing of resources from
discarded goods. That is why I believe we must begin adjusting
our ways, recalibrating our brains, and redirecting our steps, since
our micro efforts will have a macro effect when we work together
as a global community to help rescue our home, our planet. As a
student who took part in the I Can Do Something For The
Environment initiative, I am proud to be among the living heroes
for future generations.
We've given the task of Embracing Filipino Culture, as well as

the option to choose at least one cultural or national costume to
wear that demonstrates how colorful and vivid our culture and
heritage are. It's a light-hearted, enjoyable learning experience in
which viewers will learn alongside me about various themes,
aspects, or things to admire and see in our society. I'm incredibly
excited for everyone to be able to see it and participate, and
perhaps come to love our culture even more through my photos. I
choose to portray four types of costumes from different regions; it
embodies different dances and textiles that harmonize the culture
of being a real Filipino by heart. But I think we have so much to
show in our history, in our craft, in the things that we make that
are unique to us that’s not found else in the world. I feel like I
would ‘sell’ it or present it in a way where I would encourage
people to have their own adventure. As a student who perform
this activity, I really hope to be able to learn a lot about the
different regions coming together sharing their arts and culture to
be able to spread joy and awareness and really captivate the
newer generations in developing their love for the Filipino arts.
Lastly, one of the most thrilling activities I've performed is

the Karapatan ng mga Bata Bingo Card; this game or activity
helps us grasp children's rights and DepEd's basic principles.
While participating in this activity, I've had the opportunity to do

things I never thought I could, such as being enlightened by God's

words, bonding with friends and others, being one with nature,
embracing our country, and even being true to ourselves and
realizing how life could be so pure and beautiful. With this
activity, I understood that it is the most important phase since
things that happen in childhood might influence a person's
attitude growth because their minds are still developing. As a
result, more attention and nurturing are required throughout this
stage of life and for a healthy childhood. Parental responsibility,
physical health, child protection, and play all play an important
role in expressing this activity. All children have the right to grow
up in a safe and secure environment where they can reach their
full potential as citizens. They can, nevertheless, make a
significant contribution to society's advancement by ensuring kid
rights and good policy execution. Because of this game/activity,
I've had the opportunity to become an inspiration to young
people; having the power to influence them and be a role model
is a stepping stone for me, and for us.
These are only a few of the things I learned through

Retrospect Batang Batangueño (RBB). We don't need to do
anything to grow at this moment. Simply be who you are and who
you know you are. It's the only way to achieve true development.
I'm finding it difficult to summon the fortitude to uphold these
beliefs in my existential existence. This paper has taught me that

we should always strive to be Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Maka-

Kalikasan, Maka-Bansa, and last but not least, to be authentic in
all situations. We may live by these ideals in simple ways, and it
will have a significant impact on our lives. As a Filipino, especially
a Batangueño, I am optimistic that we will continue to be the best
role model in the future. Today's generation has the opportunity
to show us that we are capable of doing so. We must never forget
that your actual self must shine through in order to attract the
one who reflects your ultimate vision. My name is Mark Cyril De
