• Custom Animation Custom Animation is a set of effects which


can be applied to objects in PowerPoint so that they will
animate in the Slide Show . They can be added under the
Custom Animation function or through the use of Visual Basic
for Applications (VBA).

• Custom animation in PowerPoint 2007 is used to animate


pictures, graphics and charts. Many presenters like to add
animation to make their presentations more dynamic. There are
four types of animations that can be applied: an entrance effect,
emphasis effect, an exit effect, and a motion path effect. Each
of these effects have numerous animation styles available to
choose from.

Timing

• Timing or Slide Timing feature to record the time that you need to
present each slide, and then use the recorded times to advance the
slides automatically when you give your presentation to your actual
audience.
• Select the slide that has the transition that you want to modify. On the
Transitions tab, in the Timing group, in the Duration box, type the
number of seconds that you want.

3. In Animation group click the Custom Animation
4. Custom Animation task pane appears on the right
5. Click the Add Effect, it will display four options that are further
divided into different options

1. Open the Animation Pane


2. Select the object on the slide that you want to animate.
3. On the Animations tab, click Animation Pane.
4. Click Add Animation, and pick an animation effect.
5. To apply additional animation effects to the same object, select
it, click Add Animation and pick another animation effect.
