Introduction:
Coffee shop management
software system is a system that
is used to maintain the whole
record of coffee shop link to add
customer name,address,coffee
with details,coffee types.This
system automates and simplifies
all the functions of shop and it
will also help owner to handle all
the operations.Its an user friendly
application and this project will
give maximum to management
about shop.

Problem statement
• There are a lot of drawbacks in keeping and maintaining a coffee
shop.Especially with a manual system.There could be general or
technical problems.The manual system has less security and some
data might be lost due to mismanagement.Without automation the
management of the hotel/coffee shop has become an unwieldy
task.
• The end users’ day-to-day jobs of managing a hotel will be
simplified by a considerable amount through automated
system.The system should be user appropriate,easy to use,provide
easy recovery of errors,and have an overall and user high
subjective satisfaction.

Existing system
At present,traders maintain their day to day transaction when a
waiter has to go to at each table and take the order.And give to
the chef and must be passed to the cashier.During this process
it takes a lot of time and customer must wait till the
process.Only single system is used during this process.The
existing sytem does not deal with complaint registration.
Disadvantages:
More human power,more strength and strain of manual labour
needed,repetition of same procedure,low security,data
redundancy,difficulty to handle,difficulty to update
data,record keeping is difficult,backup data can be easily
generated.
Proposed system

• In our system,point of sale(POS)technique is used and every table will


be introduced with a touch screen system where it is connected to a
LAN and it will be connected to cashier,manager and chef.So that
every order will be given to chef and cashier simultaneously by
accessing the server database.The order will be supplied with bill to
the customer.
• Data is secure and easy to retrieve,store and analyze,so chances of
miscalculations and occurrence of error are very less.

Results
This project is aimed at developing a system for keeping records
and showing information about or in a hotel/coffee shop.
This system will provide full information about a customer in the
hotel.
This system will also provide a report on the
summary details regarding bills customer has to pay or paid.
Also,the admin is having all the rights at the end of the day to
make changes and free to handle everything.
