BACKGROUND OF THE
STUDY
A systematic literature review identified the most frequently cited
medical consequences of teenage pregnancy as anaemia,
pregnancy-induced hypertension, low birth weight, prematurity,
intra-uterine growth retardation and neonatal mortality. Critical
appraisal suggested that increased risks of these outcomes were
predominantly caused by the social, economic, and behavioural
factors that predispose some young women to pregnancy. Maternal
age less than 16 years was associated with a modest (1.2-2.7 fold)
increase in prematurity, low birth weight and neonatal death.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Teenage pregnancy causes personal, family and societal problems. Forexample,


when a teenage girl gets pregnant, she suffers serious consequences. Shealso
makes her family members to suffer. The girl’s carelessness forces her
familymembers to intervene so as to help her cope with the pregnancy. This ends
upoverburdening her family members. Therefore, it is the role of the person
whoimpregnates the girl to cater for her financial and emotional needs so that she
can be.
OBJECTIVES
The main Purpose of the Study is to find answer from the responders
as how they service in this situationsnof having a child while fucosing
in school study and having a time of this two situation, How they
manage this in a single day.
• to recognise teh necessary conditions to become pregnant.
• define early pregnancy and unwanted pregnancy
• to bring out the impact of early pregnancies in the community.
• to site the causes of early pregnancy • to identify the consequences
of early pregnancies.
SIGNIFICANT OF THE STUDY
The significant in the discovery is, How Student manage and provide
between school and her child, The Schedule would let them understand
What kind of lifestyle majority has.

Through this study a lot of students will know about the awareness and
effects of teenage pregnancy.The students will understand the
difficulties and the situations of a teenage mom and at the same time
being student.
Methodology

•The pregnancy rate was calculated as the sum of three


outcomes: live birth, induced abortion, and fetal loss, at
all stages of pregnancy.
RESPONDENTS

The respondents of the study are those whose ages


ranges from12 to 19 and 20 years old who got pregnant
while still in school og secondary.

DEFINITION OF TERMS
ANEMIA-a condition marked by a deficiency of red blood cells or of hemoglobin in the blood, resulting
in pallor and weariness.
HYPERTENSION -abnormally high blood pressure .
PRE MATURITY -happening, arriving, existing, or performed before the proper, usual, or intended time.
|NEONATAL MORTALITY -Neonatal mortality refers to death in the 1st 28 days of life.
NEONATAL DEATH -deaths among live births during the first 28 completed days of life.
PREDISPOSE -to dispose in advance -to make susceptible .
INTRA UTERINE GROWTH RETARDATION -occurs when your fetus doesn't develop at a normal rate
