WHAT IS INDUSTRIALIZATION?
 INDUSTRIALIZATION- is a transformation away
from an agricultural or resource- based economy,
toward an economy based on mass manufacturing.
 Industrialization is usually associated with
increases in total income and living standards in
society.
 Early industrialization occurred in Europe and
North America during the 18th and 19th centuries,
and later in other parts of the world.
 Numerous strategies for industrialization have
been pursued in different countries over time,
with varying levels of success.

physical, material world or universe.
“nature” can refer to the phenomena of the
physical world, and also to life in general.
 the study of nature is a large, if not the
only, part of the word.
 Although humans are part of nature, human
activity is often to undestood as a separate
category from other natural phenomena.
ENVIRONMENT
 Environment is derived from French word
“environ” which means “Encircle”
 In simple words we can say that everything
which surrounds us is called environment or
environment can be defined as all
surrounding conditions that have direct
impact on all human beings and animals.

 THE presence of UNPLEASANT Or harmful
Effects In air, Soil and water.

POLLUTION
 Air pollution : – is defined as
contamination of hazardous gases which is
released in the air, which disturbs natural
composition and chemistry of air.
 Water pollution : – involves any
contaminated water, whether from
chemical, particulate, or bacterial matter
that degrades the water’s quality and
purity.
 Soil pollution : – soil or land pollution, is
contamination of the soil that prevents natural
growth and balance in the land whether it is
used for cultivation , habitation, or a wildlife
preserve.
 Noise pollution : – it refers to undesirable levels
of noises caused by human activity that disrupt
the standard of living in the affected area.
 Plastic pollution- is the accumulation of plastic
objects and particles in Earth’s environment
that adversely affects wildlife, wildlife habitat,
and humans.
THE IMPORTANCE OF NATURE
 The natural world is an incredible wonder
that inspires us all. It underpins our
economy, our society, indeed our very
existence. Our forests, rivers, oceans and
soils provide us with irrigate our crops with.
We also rely on them for numerous other
goods and services we depend on for our
health, happiness and prosperity.
