Hello!
here our group will discuss about a snack called
jagung titi

2
Jagung titi is a typical culinary food originating from East
Nusa Tenggara, especially in the eastern part of Flores
Island such as in Solor, Adonara, Alor, and Lembata., It is
called Jagung titi because the processing of the corn seeds
is planted on a rock.
Jagung titi or Patei Silaita is a culinary heritage from our
ancestors that is still used by the community, especially
the people of Flores Island in the east..

Culinary advantages include:
1. Can be stored for a long time.
2. Easy to carry everywhere
3. As a snack for at home and
entertaining guests.

4
The corn used to make this snack is not corn
that is commonly found in the market, but
white rice corn which has a sticky texture like
sticky rice and this type is a variant of local
corn spread in East Nusa Tenggara Usually
the people of Kupang serve these snacks to
welcome guests who come to their homes.

5
Jagung titi processing process doesn't look complicated or
simple, but it takes a long time. The processing method is by
frying the corn until it is half cooked, the hot corn is then taken
little by little and then placed on a flat stone until the corn is flat.
Processing to the stage of climbing is called Jagung titi.
