Afghanistan history spans 5000 years. Afghans generally have a sense
of honor & are highly aware of their community’s opinion of them.
Hospitability, loyalty & modesty are highly valued.
 Buzkashi, a game that dates itself into Afghan antiquity.
“goat killing” it was derived from hunting mountain goat
by champions on horseback.
Folk lore & legends told through song and storytelling are a centuries-old tradition and continuous to
thrive today. Afghanistan has a rich literary as well. During the medieval period literature was written
in Dari, Pashto, Turkic and Arabic.
