 CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH

This conclusion is the final paragraph in an essay. It

summarizes or restates the thesis and the supporting
ideas of the essay. The concluding paragraph consists
of:
1. A summary of the main points, or a restatement of
your thesis in different words;
2. Your final comment on the subject, based on the
information you have provided.
3. A conclusion transition signal: in conclusion, in
summary, in brief, in short, and etc.
A concluding sentence technique are below:
• make a prediction.
• make a result or consequences.
• give solution or recommendation connected to
the topic.
 MAKE A PREDICTION

Writer tries to give the prediction related to the

topic. A writer is allowed to do this because several
reasons:
1) Deep analysis to the topic discussed in an essay.
2) Factual data or source to strengthen writer’s
prediction.
