FOVF ELEVATOR SUMMARY

• The FOVF elevator control system includes 3

parts mainly, LCBII board, AMCBII board and
SIEI drive 。
• The LCBII board is a logical control board
that we know well.
• The AMCBII board’s function likes the OTIS’s
MCSS board, it receives the motion signals
from LCBII and sends motion signals to SIEI
drive. It also receives the motion state from
SIEI and sends it to LCBII.

Troubleshooting

1. When the first run, the pulley can’t move

round or the round speed is very fast. It may
be the main line from U to U,V to V,W to W
is not correct.
2. The drive alarm: Spd fbk loss; it may be the
encoder line is not correct or the line is
broken.
3. The drive alarm: brake fbk fail ;If it takes
place after the elevator run once ,it should
be to check the brake switch.

Preparation before learn-run

1. Check the safety chain and doors chain

• Verify each safety switch of the safety chain is

available, and make sure each of them (OS, 8LS,
7LS, SOS, TES, PES, GS, DS, GSS) can stop the
elevator under the requirements of inspection
operation

2. Check the hoistway signals

• Inspection run the elevator in the whole hoistway,

check the signals of 1LV, 2LV, 1LS, 2LS, etc.
• These signals can be check by enter into M1-1-2
with SVT , or by observing the status of LED in
AMCB2 board.

3.Try running elevator

– Run the elevator in inspection and confirm
the car direction is same as the commanded
direction.
– If the command is up (or down) while the car
is down (or up), it shows the elevator
direction is different from the command
direction. Enter into the drive menu:

Regulation Alarm Events

• Undervoltage: Voltage on the drive DC link is lower

than the minimum threshold for the given Mains
voltage setting.
• Spd fbk loss: A failure of the speed feedback sensor or
power supply was detected.(Encoder, Encoder line)
• Cont fbk fail: It trips when the contact (SW) feedback
signal is not detected.
• Drv overload: Drive overload accumulator exceeded
trip threshold.
• BU overload: Braking resistor overload accumulator
exceeded trip threshold.
• Overspeed: Maximum speed threshold was exceeded
while drive in RUN status.
