Topic outline- summarizes the main idea and supporting details of the
text in words or phrase.
Sentence outline- lists complete sentences for each main idea and
supporting details, it is more informative compare to topic outline.

TWO KINDS OF OUTLINE
Reading Outline- is to get the main ideas from the text.
Writing Outline- allows the writer to categorize the
main ideas, to organize the paragraph into order.

CREATING AN OUTLINE
An outline usually organizes with these components Introduction, Body and
Conclusion.
Introduction- it is the first paragraph of your outline, where you discuss
what is your topic and thesis statement.
Thesis Statement- is a statement where the main point of the text is
stated.
Body- it is where the main idea and supporting details is written. The
body covers what the thesis statement is trying to prove.
Conclusion- is a closing sentence and briefly mention the topic
Sentences and restate the thesis statement.
