EMBEDDING
Embedding means storing the files in the presentation itself. The files become part of the presentation
file even if you move it, but it will make the presentation file larger.
• Select the slide where you want to embed audio or video into.
• Click the Insert tab.
• In the Media group, do any of the following:
To embed an audio, click Audio. Select Online Audio if the file you are going to embed is online.
On the other hand, select Audio on my PC if the file you are going to embed is in your computer.
To embed a video, click Video. Select Online Video if the file you are going to embed is online. On
the other hand, select Video on my PC if the file you are going to embed is in your computer.
Remember that linking a sound or video file to your
presentation means storing them outside the presentation.
The files are not part of the presentation. Hence, the
presentation file is smaller than that of a presentation
having an embedded sound or video file. So when you
move your presentation file, make sure to move the sound
or video file as well.
