    The student will be creating a board game based on the book Maniac Magee and will be graded on accuracy to the book, the quality of the manual/directions, how much content from the book is incorporated into the game, the creativity of the game design, and the neatness of the final product. Criteria for an exceeding grade include a game that is highly accurate to the book and incorporates multiple aspects from each part, clear and mistake-free directions, inclusion of multiple characters, settings, plots and themes while still being enjoyable to play. A meeting grade will meet most but not all criteria and an approaching grade will show some understanding of the book but have flaws in game design or execution. A limited progress grade
