The crust is the outer layer of the Earth

which is composed of various elements
essential to human existence. There are 8
major elements found in it. These are
Oxygen (46.6%), Silicon (27.7%),
Aluminum (8.1%), Iron (5.0%), Calcium
(3.6%), Sodium (2.8%), Potassium (2.6%)
and Magnesium (2.1%).
The remaining one percent is a combination
of all other rare elements which is important
to
Humans including copper, gold, uranium
and silver.
