Introduction
Roads are developed in earliest 4000BC . From the
past 20 years roads are constructed with tar and
modified bitumen such roads are called as
conventional roads but now a days constructed
with plastics. Most of the roads in our country have
granular sub base and base. The main problem is
what to do with waste plastic use of waste plastic
which is non-biodegradable rapidly growing and
research have found that the material can remain
earth on for 4500 years are unchanged without
degradation.
Applications

Road Constructions
Need for this Investigation
• In the present scenario, the biggest challenge
in-front of the world is huge quantity of
accumulating waste.
• Plastic contributes 400 million tones of waste
every year.
• 79% of the total plastic produced in the world
enters our environment as waste.
Solution to the Problem

By using those plastic by using tar and making

roads , using waste plastic as major component
and bitumen as minor components we can
reduce the wastes in the environment. Without
producing new waste we can recycle and reuse
the waste.
