I had noticed that this pupil had a hard time

answering his modules, as seen in her outputs. Some of

her outputs were not answered correctly while some were
left unanswered. So, I talked with the parents to address
the problem. I asked for their time, guidance and
assistance to help their child in answering the modules
and assessments. In addition I gave additional learning
material to supplement the pupil’s better understanding
the lessons.
This pandemic, the radio-based instruction was a good
help in guiding pupils with their lessons as most of our
pupils were engaged in the modular and digital type of
learning. The set up was like to that of the face to face
minus the teacher-pupil interaction. At the very least, they
were able to hear teachers explained or discussed the
lesson even though in a short span of time, thus
difficulties of learners were lessen.

Aside from modular delivery learning, some of our pupils
were engaged in the digital learning, where in soft copy of
the modules/assessment/answer sheets were sent to their
group chats. Parents who have a hard time going to school
because of work schedule, preferred this kind of set up.
Then parents, took pictures of their children’s output and
send to their respective adviser. If the file is unreadable, I
sent them pictures of the assessment or module.

We prepared Weekly Home Learning Plan every week
that are aligned to the Most Essential Learning
Competency (MELC) and congruent to the modules being
distributed on that week. We always consider our learners
individual differences in assigning the learning activity to
cater their needs.
I made power point presentation of my lessons that
includes videos, pictures and animated images that
supports the interactive nature of learning. These
learning materials were teacher-made/modified with the
help of online platforms like youtube.
Attending various seminars online and other trainings
was a great helped and opportunity for us teachers.
Through these seminars/trainings, teachers were en-able
to acquire knowledge on how to cope up with the kind of
education we are going to impart to our pupils for them to
develop learning inspite of the pandemic we are facing
right now.
For pupils not to write their answers anymore in a
piece of paper, we provided answer sheets both for
the modules and the assessment. We made sure that
these were aligned from the MELCs and each
learning competency in each module were given
during assessment.

Most of the feedback I gave to pupils were praises on their
work like neatness, orderly and independency on doing
the tasks assigned to them. I made sure these were
positive. While the feedbacks I received from parents
were too much number of exercises they need to answer.
Therefore, I gave them ample time to finish even there
would be a lapse of time as long as they answer all of the
needed exercises. Some of the feedbacks I gave were not to
leave blanks and to make sure all answer sheets have
names on it.

Because we are implementing no face to face learning,
parents and stakeholders engaged in the teaching learning
process. And we were able to communicate with them
through text, chat or call. Through limited face to face and
going to school, really helps to relay information and to meet
the learner’s needs and achieving our goals together to cope
with this new normal learning.
There were different kinds of learning modes for our
children. Aside from modular delivery learning, some of our
pupils were engaged in the digital learning, where in soft

If they have querries, they can text, chat or call their teachers
for clarifications.
