Evaluating Communication
Evaluating Communication
Critical reading is close, attentive reading that actively questions, analyzes, and evaluates a written
work
The goal of critical reading is to examine not only what message is conveyed but also how the
message is conveyed as well as its purpose, target audience, and other ways of presenting it.
For the qualities of a critical reader and the guide questions in evaluating
texts and images, please refer to the PDF files uploaded on teams.
