PHYSICS SPRING EXPERIMENT

By: Julia Krzęstek

The preparation Things i prepared for my experiment :

❏ A spring
❏ A measuring tape
❏ A kitchen scale
❏ Some objects ( ex. Flour , Sugar etc.)
❏ A plastic bag
The Graph

◼ I made a graph and labeled it with the

Spring length , Extension , Calculated
mass , Measured mass , Calculated
weight and Measured weight.
The Measuring I measured my spring , it was 8.2 cm. Fortunetely my
spring had a little hack on the bottom so i could easily
hang a plastic bag on it.

My objects were :

● A candle
● Books
● Flour
● Milk + Can

I hang the plastic bag on the spring and started to put

objects in. I started with a candle , I put it in the bag
and measured how much longer the spring got under
the weight/ pressure. I did this with all my objects and
wrote down all my results.
The Weighing

For the process of weighing I took out my kitchen

scale. I weight all my objects so that my results
would be more precise.

● Candle - 1.4 kg
● Books - 0.852 kg
● Flour- 0.779 kg
● Milk + Can - 0.981 kg

I wrote it all down into my graph.

The Last Process

I made a line graph. I put all the data in it. The closer https://1drv.ms/x/s!AgrS5-gveIpst3iQuwK0pPW1l3b
the lines were the more equal the results were. l?e=GtSK6M

Ex.
The End :)
