Machine learning is being used in healthcare
abundantly. Large amounts of data such as
images, patient data are produced in the
healthcare sector which helps to identify patterns
and make predictions. Machine learning is used in
healthcare to solve various real world problems
that requires time-constraints and expertise of an
individual.
02 INTRODUCTIO
N
 Predictive analytics in healthcare can eventually assist practitioners in
making timely decisions regarding patients' health and treatment based
on massive data.

 The diseases related to heart, cancer, and diabetes can cause a potential
threat to mankind, if not found early. Therefore, early recognition and
diagnosis of these diseases can save a lot of lives.

 Our project is all about predicting diseases that are harmful using
machine learning classification algorithms. To make this work seamless
and usable, our team is working on a medical test application that
makes predictions about various diseases using the concept of machine
learning. In this work, our aim to develop a disease-predicting
application that uses the concept of machine learning-based predictions
about various diseases.
03STATEMENT
PROBLEM

 The traditional diagnosis approach entails a patient visiting a doctor,

undergoing many medical tests, and then reaching a consensus. This
process is very time-consuming. This project proposes an automated
disease prediction system to save time required for the initial process
of disease prediction that relies on user input. The user gives input to
the system and system provides the user with a set of probable
diseases.
AIMS &
OBJECTIVES
04
• This project aims to predict the disease on the basis of the symptoms. The
project is designed in such a way that the system takes symptoms from the
user as input and produces output i.e. predict disease.

• This system also consists of a feature of Database which stores the data
entered by the end users and the name of the disease the patient is
suffering from that can be used as a past record and will help in further
treatment in future.

• There is a demand to make such a system that will help end users to
predict diseases on the basis of symptoms given in it without visiting
hospitals.
