General Introduction
The Great Wall of China, which is said to be visible from the moon, winds up
and down across deserts, grasslands and mountains of 5 provinces. It is
considered as one of the greatest man-made wonders in the world thanks to
its magnificence and significance. In 1987. the Great Wall was listed as a
World Heritage by UNESCO.

LOCATION
The Great Wall of China begins at Shanhaiguan on the shores of the Bohai Sea
in eastern China and ends at Manchuria southeast of the Uighur Autonomous
Region of Xinjiang. Spread across 6 provinces from East to West of China,
across many plains, deserts or towering mountain ranges
