Communist Party(CCP).
3. PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY (PLA)
 The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is the armed wing of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
and the principal military force of the People's Republic of China. The PLA consists of five
service branches: the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, and Strategic Support Force.
It is under the leadership of the Central Military Commission (CMC) with its chairman as
commander-in-chief.
4. PEOPLE’S ARMED POLICE (PAP)
 is a paramilitary force primarily responsible for internal security, maintaining public order, and
supporting the PLA in defense operations when needed.

Police-to-population ratio

 Some rural policing units even have a police-citizen ratio of 4.19:10000 ,


meaning that each police officer is responsible for security of 2386 people. In
contrast, Wuhan City’s police-to-citizen ratio is 1:466, which demonstrates a

Age Requirement

 The age requirement to enter the police force in China generally ranges between
18-28 years old for most positions. However, there might be slight variations

force.

Age Retirement

The current mandatory retirement age for police is 55. But this could be
extended to 60 if an annual test was passed.
