The meaning is: in the event of; in the case that; in case of; if or when
How to use:
1 。 Verb (casual) + 場合は
2 。 Noun + の場合は
3 。な adj + 場合は
4 。い adj + 場合は
5 。 Verb- た + 場合は
6 。 Verb- ない + 場合は
It is used to talking about a hypothetical case (kasus hipotetis). The section after 場 合
shows how to handle or have the result occurred. The part before 場合 is the verb, adj, or
noun. It usually talks about a possibility that doesn't happen very often and is unfavorable.

Ex:
何か問題がありました(あった場合は)、私に言ってください。

How to use!
1 。 Verb (plain) + のに
2 。い -adj + のに
3 。な -adj (~ だ=な )+ のに
4 。 Noun (~ だ=な )+ のに
のに function similarly to けれども and が in the sense that all can be used to link two
clauses that are opposed in meaning. But のに implies a stronger sense of reversal
or contrast (menyiratkan rasa pembalikan atau kontras yang lebih kuat) and oftentimes
reflects speaker's emotions such as surprise, disappointment, frustration, etc.
Ex:
彼は日本人なのに、漢字が書けません。
Although he is Japanese, he can't write Kanji.
It expresses the feeling of surprise or disbelief that
contrary to the general expectation that if one is Japanese,
one will be able to write Kanji.
彼は日本人ですが、漢字が書けません。
He is Japanese, but he can't write Kanji.
彼は日本人だけれども、漢字が書けません。
He is Japanese, but he can't write Kanji.
3. お正月です(お正月のに)、仕事をしなければなりません。

1 。 ~ ところです ( a point in time)
The meaning is: just about to; on the verge of doing somethig; in the mids of; has just been
completed.
How to use:
1。 Verb- る (bentuk kamus) + ところです
2。 Verb- ている + ところです Ex:
3。 Verb- た + ところです
食べるところ = just about to eat
食べているところ = in the middle of eating
食べたところ = just ate
1.1 Verb- るところです (just about to begin)
A: パーチーはもう始まりましたか。
Has the party already started?
B: いいえ、ちょうど始まります ( 始まるところです ) 。
No,it's just about to start.
- ちょうど = just
- いまから = from now
- これから = from now on
1.2 Verb- ているところです (ongoing action)
1. A: 故障の原因は分かりましたか。
Do you know what caused the accident?
B: 今調べているところです。
I'm investigating it now.
2. A: 論文はもう出しましたか。
Have you submitted the essay yet?
B: 今書いているところです。
I'm writing it now.
1. A: 8 時のバスはもう来ましたか。
Has the 8 o'clock bus arrived yet?
B: たった今出ました ( 出たところです ) 。
It left just now.
2. A: テレーサちゃんまだ起きていますか。
Is Teressa still awake?
B: 今寝ました ( 寝たところです ) 。
She just slept.
2 。 Verb- た form + ばかりです
The meaning is: just finished; something just occurred/ended; only; about; just.
How to use:
The meaning is: it must be; it should be; when you expect something; it
is certain; must; should; definitely; ought to.
How to use:
1 。 Verb (plain form) + はずです = 行くはずです。
2 。 Verb- ない + はずです = 飲まないはずです。
3 。い -adj + はずです = おいしいはずです。
4 。な -adj + なはずです = じょうずなはずです。
5 。 Noun + のはずです = 休みのはずです。
Ex:
6 時ですからもうすぐバスが来るはずです。
It is 6 o'clock, the bus should arrived soon.
A: 彼女は来るでしょうか。
Will she come?
B: 出席の返事をもらいましたから、来るはずです。
I received a replay that she would attend, so I'm certain she will come.
A: カリナさんはが上手ですか。 絵が上手ですか。
Is Karina good at drawing?
B: 美術を勉強していますから、上手なはずです。
She is studying art, so I'm sure she is good.
