INTRODUCTION
• Artificial intelligence is a subfield of computer science that aims to build machines or computers
that are as intelligent as people.
• Artificial Intelligence is a way of making a computer, a computer-controlled robot, or software
think intelligently, similar to intelligent humans.
• Artificial intelligence is one of the exciting and all-encompassing areas of computer science with
a bright future.
• AI has the propensity to make a machine function like a human.
WHY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE?
• Indeed though it's so expansive and requires numerous different rudiments, artificial
intelligence isn't only a branch of computer wisdom.
• Intelligence is an impalpable element of our brain that combines logic, literacy,
problem-working perception, language understanding, etc. To construct artificial
intelligence, we must first understand how intelligence is composed.
• Artificial intelligence needs the following discipline to fulfill the conditions for a
machine or software.
• Mathematics biology
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Neurons in Computer Science Research Statistics
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BENEFITS
• High Accuracy with Fewer Errors: AI machines or systems are more accurate
and prone to fewer errors since they base their judgments on prior knowledge or
experience.
• High-Speed: Because AI systems can make decisions quickly and at a high-speed
rate, they can outplay chess champions.
• High accuracy: AI robots are incredibly accurate and can perform the same task
again.
• AI robots are helpful in difficult circumstances where it would be dangerous to use
humans, such as when defusing bombs or researching the ocean below.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DRAWBACKS
• High Cost: The hardware and software needed for AI are expensive since they need a lot of
upkeep to keep up with modern demands.
• Can't think beyond the box: Even though artificial intelligence (AI) is allowing us to create robots
that are smarter than humans, they still need to be able to do tasks that are to them.
• No feelings or emotions: AI machines may be excellent performers but lack feelings and cannot
develop any emotional connection with people.
• Increased reliance on machines: As technology advances, people are becoming more reliant on
gadgets, impairing their mental faculties.
APPROACHES OF AI
• The Turing Test technique, or acting humanely, was created by Alan Turing.
• The cognitive modeling technique aims to ascertain whether a computer thinks
similarly to a human being.
• Thinking logically (The "laws of thinking" method): This technique aims to
assess the computer's capacity for logical reasoning and rational cognition.
• Acting logically (The rational agent method): This strategy aims to identify if a
computer behaves logically or rationally.
