• Prelab quiz will be given the day of the
experiment

• NO food or drinks are allowed in the


lab.
Laboratory
• During the lab
– Students form lab groups of 3 per bench.
– Each member of the group must have distinctive role.
– Adhere to all safety rules.

– NEVER connect your circuit to the power source before


the TA approves your connections, settings and procedure.

– 5% of your grade is based on your ACTIVE


PARTICIPATION in the lab.
Laboratory
• Lab reports
– One lab report per group

– Each member in the group must identify his part in the


report.
– Report must have (as a minimum) the following components:
• Objectives
• Circuit and instrumentation
• Data collected and how it is collected
• What you have learned from the experiment
• Conclusions
Mandatory Review
• On their own, all students are
required to review Chapter 7: AC
Circuits.
• Homework on Chapter 7 is assigned
on the class web site
