SIGNS & SYMPTOMS HIV

• Symptoms that arise are usually like the common cold, reddish spots
on the skin, headaches, rashes and sore throats .
• If the body's immune system decreases due to the infection, other
signs and symptoms will appear such as swollen lymph nodes, weight
loss, fever, diarrhea and cough .
• On In the chronic stage, symptoms are typical and more severe , such
as profuse canker sores, whitish patches in the mouth, symptoms of
herpes zoster, dandruff, severe vaginal discharge and psychological
disorders .
• In the advanced stages, people with HIV will lose weight, the amount
of virus continues to increase, the number of CD4+ lymphocytes
decreases to <200 cells/ul. In this state AIDS is declared.
• Late stages show the development of opportunistic infections such as
meningitis, mycobacterium avium and suppression of the immune
system .
