The Chernobyl accident, which
happened  on April 26, 1986, was
the biggest nuclear accident in
WHERE IT history. This tragedy occurred in a
TOOK PLACE power plant located in the city of
Pripyat, about 20 Km from the city
of Chernobyl in the former Soviet
Union.

died immediately and more than 100 were injured

The Level of Destruction
The disaster began during a test of
reactor 4, when there was a sudden and
unexpected power surge. When
