Environmental
Chemistry Problem in
the Philippines
• In the Philippines, we, the Filipino people, are already
seeing the effects of this. From typhoons with low
pressure, it has progressed to become super typhoons,
with some instances of tornadoes. The threat of monsoon
rain, with its potential to cause flash floods, inspires dread.
The heat index has seen a significant uptick as
temperatures continue to rise.
• Natural resources help humanity survive and thrive.
chemistry has enabled us utilise renewable and
nonrenewable resources to improve our lives. Chemists
create numerous everyday materials, from electronics to
medicine. Every day, humans affect the world and
environment.
Solid Waste
• Solid Waste is the collecting, treating, and disposing of solid materials that is
discarded because it has served its purpose or is no longer useful. It is
commonly known as trash or garbage waste type consisting of everyday items
that are discarded by the public. It refers specifically to food waste, plastic bags,
cans, scraps etc.
• Solid waste issues seriously impacts the human life and the environment. It
increased levels of toxic substances because of the water contaminated due to
improper disposal of waste. It causes diseases like diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid,
cholera, plague, etc.
• The management of solid waste1 continues to be a significant problem in the
Philippines, particularly in urban areas like Metro Manila.
• The three main issues in this country are improper waste management,
ineffective waste collection, and a lack of disposal facilities.
• If these issues are not resolved, the wastes produced by various sources will
lead to persistent health risks and serious environmental effects like
contaminated ground and surface water, air pollution, disease spread, and
flooding.
• The Environmental Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, also
known as Republic Act No.
• It offers the framework for the legal program for the
systematic, thorough, and environmentally sound
management of the nation's solid waste that will ensure
protection

Solid Waste Solutions
• We can significantly reduce the amount of solid waste by
following some basic principles of reducing the amount of
waste that is created.
• By reusing materials that would otherwise be discarded, by
recycling materials and by using recycled materials.
• And to bring own ego bag and putting garbage cans to mostly
where people go or to those crowded places.
• And to encourage each to put there waste in a proper way, to
prevent and protect human life.
• MSW Recycling System, Philippines municipal solid waste recycling
plant working in Philippines, manufactured and installed in 2013. It is
the biggest MSW recycling system for solid waste in Philippines.
• Our Municipal Solid Waste Recycling Plant (MSW recycling systems)
are used in combination to recover valuable commodities, divert waste
from landfills, and as a front-end separation system combined with
energy conversions such as Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) and others.
Whatever your goals are, we provide you with the right and best
solution.
