    A survey was conducted at Siju/TSS regarding constraints for taking feed from incoming 132KV lines and accommodating another bay which would require modifications. A joint survey with railway officials is recommended to make a joint decision. The bridge structure at Nuagaon-Siju would not allow overhead line masts to carry catenary, contact, and feeder wires, so high tension towers need to be used across the river for the 25KV feeder wire beside the new line.

    SURVEY AT SIJU/TSS

    The following constraints have


    been noticed :-
    1. There is space constraint to
    take the feed from incoming
    132KV Red & yellow phase
    2. 2.accommodation of
    another bay is there but
    modification is required in
    exixting system

    3. A joint survey with Tailway


    official may be arranged to
    take a joint decision.
    SURVEY AT Nuagaon- Siju

    This type of bridge structure will not permit OHE individual mast to carry OHE conductors like Catenary, Contact wire and Feeder wire. Then for 25 KV Feeder
    wire, HT tower to be used across river only beside new line
