Bullying means hurting
another person. Another
word for hurting
someone is abuse. A
Bullies person is
someone who is hurt or
abused by a bully. A
bully is someone who
hurts or abuses another
person. A bully is the
opposite of a friend.
Bullying can be
physical or verbal.
Examples of physical
bullying are pushing,
kicking, or punching
another person.
Destroying or damaging
another person’s
belongings may also be
considered physical
bullying. On the other
hand, examples of verbl
bullying are teasing and
name calling. Insulting
another person is also an
example of verbal abuse.
Threatening another
person and shouting or
laughing at another
person are also acts of
bullying.
Another type of
bullying is cyber bullying.
Cyber bullying is abusing
another person over the
internet. In cyber
bullying, the bully usually
hides his/her identity to
abuse another person
through hurtful
comments.
Usually, bullies hurt
weaker persons. There
are also cases where a
group of bullies
intimidates a smaller
group of kids.
Bullying is unpleasant.
It does not solve any
problem and does not do
anything good. It just
negatively affects the
