Brief Rationale
• Bangon – A Filipino term which means “to
rise”.
• BANGON Foundation is a non-governmental
organization that aims to help and improve
the lives of Filipinos affected by the crises
brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic as we
rise together and move forward to the "new
normal" of society. It acronymizes our
mantra, "Bridge And Neutralize Gaps in Our
Nation."

BANGON Foundation is committed to give aid to our fellow Filipinos
who need help to recover from COVID -19. We give our best efforts to
help people overcome this pandemic. We find different approaches like
collecting funds and raising awareness for us to be able to operate. In
any circumstances, we find the best solution to help our Filipinos. We
will do anything with our power for us to achieve our main goal which
is to help our fellow Filipinos to rise from the devastating effects of
COVID-19.

Our organization was created in order to help Filipinos survive and
sustain their lives from the pandemic’s social and economical effects, as
well as to give medical care and attention to COVID-19 patients
We will assist the healthcare workers who have served amidst the
pandemic through volunteering and transportation and supplies that
will support their needs
For our fellowmen who are struggling on a daily basis, we assist them
by supporting them and finding a suitable job that will allow them to
get by.
Organizational Structure
Funding Sources
• BANGON Foundation will rely on loans to start and operate the
different events and programs that will also provide funds. The
borrowed money, 5,000,000 PHP, will be used as capital. Following
that, the money accumulated from the various programs and events
will be used to repay the loan.

Fundraising
• Fundraising uses programs and activities that accumulate funds for
charity
• Fundraising events can also be sponsored
• Includes fun runs, concerts, and tournaments
 Fun Run – A non-competitive running event
 Concert – Features local icons, such as singers and actors
Donation Drive
• These are set up in order to provide help to those who need it by
having people donate items
• Can be done through direct, online banking transactions, or with e-
wallet applications
• Crowdfunding – method of raising funds by asking people to donate
through bank transactions or e-wallets
Sponsorships, Partnerships, and
Advertisements
• We can get sponsors and advertise their products or services in
exchange for fees that we can use to fund our NGO.
• Advertisements will be used to spread the organization’s cause and to
encourage more people to donate to the NGO.
Marketing
• Marketing or selling goods and services to the public can help us
gather additional funds and support for the BANGON Foundation
• Various marketing ideas include the sale of merchandise and
fundraising products, including shirts, cups, caps, and hoodies of the
BANGON Foundation.
• Our NGO will coordinate with local small businesses that will help us
produce merchandise.
Raffles
• We will make use of raffles by encouraging people to buy raffles for 50
pesos, which gives a chance for rafflers to win prizes
• Bought raffle tickets will then be inserted into a dropbox in various
convenience and pharmacy stores
• Participants can also be those who purchased products or services
from certain brands through partnerships with our NGO for a certain
or target amount. Those who paid 1000 PHP or more will be given a
free raffle ticket.
• This raffle event will be available for the first two weeks of the month
through the purchase of raffle tickets in each store’s counters

• This project aims to help get our healthcare workers to their places of
work so that they can provide the services that Filipinos require,
particularly medical assistance.
• This project also aims to provide job opportunities for public
transportation drivers who have been laid off from their previous job.

• Step 3: Look for volunteer drivers and conductors by spreading this
initiative on social media. All applicants will undergo screening and an
interview.

• Must be 21 - 65 years old
• With valid license and minimum of 2 years experience
• No any physical disabilities that can endanger the lives of the
passengers
• Passed practical driving exam
• Physical and mentally fit
• Clean driving record

• Step 4: Assign 15 drivers per route with a minimum salary of 800
pesos daily.
• Step 5: Hold a general orientation for both employed and volunteer
drivers.
• Step 6: Spread the initiative on social media platforms such as
Facebook and Twitter to reach a larger group of workers.

• This project intends to resolve the shortage of materials and facilities
such as hospital beds, quarantine facilities, hospital apparatus,
equipment and supplies that we have been dealing with since the first
day of the pandemic.

hospitals, for needed materials.

supplies such as PPEs, disinfectants, and hospital beds.

• This program is conducted to perform free mass testings around the
country.
• Mass testing facilities will be located all across the nation. In addition,
do-it-yourself antigen testing kits will be available.
• The program would be done in various areas, such as covered courts,
schools, and hospitals, where it would be easily accessed by many
people.

coping with the effects of the health crisis.
• This webinar would be held to educate people on how to cope with
the disastrous effects of the pandemic, such as economic, financial,
and health problems, and many more.

• Operasyon Balik-Manggagawa is a job search program that aims to
help Filipinos find jobs and livelihoods by providing job opportunities
and training, especially for blue-collar workers who lost their jobs
during the height of the pandemic.
• Operasyon Balik-Manggagawa will be done through online platforms
and in-person programs.
