The New Covenant of God
 David was the greatest King of Israel.
 Solomon, the son of David, succeeded him. He
was gifted by God with Wisdom and he was the
one who built the temple of Jerusalem.
 A young man named Jeremiah, sent this message
of God to them, “I will establish a new covenant
with you, one that is not carved in stone but
written in your heart”
Nurturing God’s Message
1. God created the world, all creatures and plants on
it, including the human person, out of love.
2. God showed His love to the man and the woman
He created by creating them in His image and
likeliness and by giving them dominion over all
of His creation.
3. Despite God’s goodness and love, the man and
the woman He created sinned against him.
Nurturing God’s Message
4. God made the first promise to save humankind
from sin in the Book of Genesis.
5. Jesus will defeat sin and the one who brought it
into the world.
6. God made a covenant with Israel through moses.
The terms covenant are the Ten Commandments.
7. God remained faithful to His covenant with His
people even though they constantly fell into sin.
Nurturing God’s Message
8. God promised David, the greatest king of Israel,
that from this Line the Savior will come.
9. Solomon was gifted by God with wisdom but he
fell into sin of idolatry.
10. During the exile, Israel’s hope for the Messiah
was kept alive by the prophets who relayed to God’s
people His message of a new covenant of love to be
fulfilled by Jesus.
